I can't forget
Even though
I didn't feel it
when he broke up with me
I still remember
what it was like
when he said he liked me
and I said I liked him too
and the class cheered
I can't forget the word he said
"I'm 13 and I like you too"
affected me like
no one else did
Probably that's why
I can't
forget him.
Like a hole
in my chest.

His Light
His face
Shining in the dark
Like light of the sun
To my eyes
His crystal clear eyes
penetrates through me
and sets everything
aglow
His aura
rotates around him
and makes my eyes awake
as if blind
but reborn
and able to see again
through His Light
Shining in the dark
Like light of the sun
To my eyes
His crystal clear eyes
penetrates through me
and sets everything
aglow
His aura
rotates around him
and makes my eyes awake
as if blind
but reborn
and able to see again
through His Light
Make a Change!
How come, there is poverty
How come, everyday
People dying out of starvation
Why is it in our countries
there are good people but
bad government?
Why can't we stand up
to all the thing that are
wrong in the world
and make a change?
We can do it
If we believe
We can do it
If we say no to all of this
and make a change
in our lives

Happy Easter!
Easter is here again! Yayy! I myself am not going anywhere, apart from going to Aunty Bibi and Uncle Jeremy's place for Easter lunch, and in the evening I'll spend time with my family. But I do wish that my brother was here, so I could spend Easter with him too, because I miss him a lot. I'm getting a new puppy, and it's going to be big because it a cross bread, Alshien (I think that's how it's spelt) and Caucasian, and it's huge, and I'm a bit scared cuz I'm scared of dogs.
ANWAY HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!!
AND HAVE FUNN!!

Armed robbers
I am writing this in red because of all the extra blood I never thought I'd see in my life. Just some time ago, these two armed robbers entered the back of the house. And as I heard from Sunday, washer & ironer of our house, the two armed robbers came to the back, as soon as Hassanah saw them (the maid) she laid flat on the ground with her hands over head. Because the armed robbers saw our avensis toyota, they assumed my dad would be here (seeing they thought the dad has more money). So they asked where my dad was, cuz they wanted to steal the car. And Sunday said that my dad wasn't here. That is because we have two cars. My dad uses honda normally, and my mom uses avensis normally. So the armed robbers asked how come, and all Sunday could say was that my dad wasn't here. And both of the armed robbers had pistols. So one of them used the pistol and hit Sunday at the back of the head. Then Sunday was beat up by one of them. Sunday could have caught them, cuz he was calling for help but no police guard was around our side of the estate.
While all this happened I was in the living room listening to Carry Out by Justin Timberlake and Timberland. Then my mom called me and said that there were thieves. And cuz my mom said she couldn't find her phone before I thought it was the thieves that just nick things. Then I saw Sunday enter the house and it clicked. Armed robbers. I was scared. Sunday had a vest on, and his back was drenched with blood all through, he was bleeding from his neck and the back of his head. The stench of blood was horrible, I couldn't help disliking it. I helped as I could. Got Dettol (disinfectant) and cotton wool. But just kept out of the way and near to them.
My dad arrived, and he said that they had caught the two armed robbers. Thank God! And that they killed one. But the other one had thrown away the two guns, so they were trying to get it out from him were they were. My dad took Sunday to the police station. That is because they need one mopol (mobile police) before they would treat Sunday at the hospital. I am scarred forever.

Popular channels on youtube
Today I was randomly watching videos from this channel "charlieissocoollike" on youtube. And there was this video "How to get featured" which means how to get popular on youtube. Funny guy. But I think the way to get popular on youtube more than anything else, is to post videos of yourself, rather than uploading videos of celebrities and songs by them, because it will keep people wanting to know what you will do next and they would keep coming back for more. Unlike just videos of celebrities which they could get anywhere.

Nigeria in Trouble
"God, this is depressing! I wonder if I can keep up using public transport", I think as I enter the bus to go home. I quickly rush to find a seat, before the bus gets too overcrowded, and luckily I do find one and fortunately it is a window seat. When the bus had finished overloading itself with people, and starts its journey, I look out of the window so as to take my attention and mostly depression away from the surroundings of the bus.
When I looked out of the window, I saw that we were near Wuse market, and we would eventually turn into the road leading to Wuse market. Well I guess we will be stuck in this traffic jam for some time. I look at the traffic people. There are about six of them, and five are just sitting around busy jisting with each other, well I don't blame them, because no one would want to be the person who would try and make this jam better as long as it's Wuse market jam. While the other one tries and fails to make Wuse Market Traffic Jam better. Sigh.
I wipe a trickle of sweat from my forehead. I look up the farthest I can to the sun, and sigh. I mean seriously, I wonder how my fellow Nigerians live. "Why won't Nigeria ever wake up and use solar power fulltime? At least we can put use this sun that we have too much of. And have less global warming. But they won't even bother; because they think 'Oh we have enough natural resources so wy use solar power'. But what they don't realize is that someday it will run out and global warming will increase and the human race will eventually die out. But if we use solar power, at least the human race might live a little bit longer" I think to myself.
I retire from looking out of my window, to look at the rest of my surroundings. I look at the faces around me, and all of them were mostly sweating and breathing heavily and uncomfortably because of the over crowdedness of people. God, why do the buses always over pack themselves with too much people? I turn to the woman next to me as she tries to soothe her baby who was struggling with the woman and having a loud cry which disturbed the people around us, so the woman turned to say sorry to everyone near us. Why shouldn't the baby be upset with all the over stuffiness?
I turn to look around at the people, then the bus suddenly gets slower. I look out of my window to see why, and it was because it was turning into a corner. Sigh. The time it'll use turning into a corner will certainly be a lot because the bus is too huge for corners and U-Turns in Abuja (or anywhere else). I wonder why Nigerians like making ultra huge buses that takes loads of time just turning into a corner. Probably they make it bigger so there can be more people. But thats stupid, because it slows the traffic when it turns into corners or U-Turns.
Finally I get out of the bus, and I see a poster of Yar'Adua. One thing I can tell you for sure is that God did not bless us when it comes to our leaders. Most of the time, we just get corrupt and greedy leaders. All they want most of the time is money and more money. You would be surprised what Nigerians would do to get money; I mean it's amazing (and not in a good way). All with the police officers who take bribes. Damn it! Nigeria is just better off without police officers; for they don't do their jobs and only make it worse (I mean police officers aren't supposed to take bribes for God's sake).
As I walk home I put on my iPod and start listening to Talkin' about a Revolution by Tracy Chapman. "That's what Nigeria really needs - a revolution. But that obviously won't happen for a long time, well unless Nigeria gets a sensible president (who lasts that is)" I think to myself.
